Today’s Homecoming spirit was out of this world! 🌌 Our hallways transformed into a tropical paradise as students showed up in their best Hawaiian Day outfits, channeling the laid-back island vibes of Lilo and Stitch. 🏄‍♂️✨ We saw lots of floral prints, leis, and island-style spirit! 🌸🌴 In the morning, teams battled it out in the “Alien Capture Challenge” 🛸👽—a wild race to catch as many sneaky aliens before time ran out! 🤪 We’re loving all the creativity and enthusiasm as we continue our ACGC at the Movies week! 🎬👏 What was your favorite part of today? Mark your calendars! Friday, October 11th is the day for the Drive 4UR School – a test driving event through Ford! For every test drive, $20 will be donated. This year, the proceeds will be going to help fund the new ACGC piano lab equipment. The ACGC piano class is already in full swing, but we are still in need of more financial support. We are so excited to be partnering with Atwater Ford to put on this event, and are thrilled to be sharing the date with the homecoming football game. Test drive times are between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Come test drive a car, stay to support our Falcon football team!

For Minnesota History, Mr. Miller brought in apples from his home for our sixth graders to try. They got to try 3 different varieties of apples that are native to Minnesota. Students are learning about the different things that Minnesota is known for--apples being one of them!

Our school custodians are the unsung heroes who keep our environment clean, safe, and welcoming every single day. Their dedication goes beyond just maintaining the building; they create a space where students and staff can thrive. From early mornings to late nights, they work tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that classrooms, hallways, and common areas are always spotless and well-maintained. Their attention to detail and commitment to the school community reflect a deep sense of pride in their work, and for that, we are immensely grateful. They are the backbone of our school, and we owe them our heartfelt thanks for all they do.
