On Monday, February 28th, seven ACGC Falcon Band members competed in Instrumental Solo Contest at Eden Valley Watkins High School. All the students performed challenging pieces very well and were awarded for their efforts. Superior Awards were given to Eric Melberg, Alayna Schultz, Kincade Eisenbacher, Caleb Ruter, and Joseph Gratz. Excellent Awards were given to Bethany Oswood and Caleb Petersen. An additional "Best In Site" Award was given to Eric Melberg for his performance of "A Minor Piece" by Gabriel Pierne. These students are all a fine example of the musical excellence of ACGC.
