Brooke Brekke is having another successful season on the golf course. After being named conference MVP and qualifying for the state meet as a freshman last year, Brooke repeated as conference MVP and again qualified for the state meet by finishing 3rd in the section. She is currently the 2nd ranked golfer in class A by scoring average. Brooke is looking to have a strong showing at the state class A meet at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker on June 11-12.
Congratulations to Kenlie Blom on qualifying for the state track meet in the 100-meter hurdles! She accomplished this feat after an incredible season that included breaking the school record in the event, earning All-Conference honors in both the 100 and 300-meter hurdles, and qualifying for the section meet in both hurdle events as well as the 4x400 meter relay. Currently ranked #6 in her heat, Kenlie has high expectations to advance beyond prelims and get on the podium. The state track meet will be hosted by St. Michael-Albertville High School, June 6-8.
